New Delhi: The Veer Pahariya and Aparshakti Khurana-starrer 'Prem Keetanu' is set to release on 2 October.

The film is directed by Apoorv Singh Karki and produced by Gaurav Verma's Avanika Films. It is co-presented by Phars Films, according to a press release.

The film aims to resonate with today’s youth and evoke nostalgia among older generations, connecting their lived experiences with aspirations for the next generation. It also features Aafiya Sayed, Rakesh Bedi and Nikhil Vijay, among others.

It also marks the first project from Avanika Films. Verma's previous films as an independent producer at Red Chillies, including 'Darlings', 'Bhakshak' and 'Jawan', have been well received by audiences.

Pahariya will next feature in 'Naam: To Live Is War', directed by Sidhaant Sachdev, alongside Varun Sharma.

Khurana will appear in 'Gunmaaster G9' alongside Emraan Hashmi as Agent G9.
