Various explosions have been reported across Iran as the US military says it has completed fresh strikes on Iran for the 13th consecutive night.
Eyewitness footage shows explosions in Iran's port city of Bandar Abbas.
Reuters was able to confirm the location from road layout and buildings which matched satellite and archive imagery of the area. The cause of the blasts was unclear.
The date of the footage was confirmed by state media citing Director General of Crisis Management, Hormozgan Province on July 24, of attack on the Tappe Allah Akbar neighbourhood in Bandar Abbas that had caused injuries and a power outage.
Trump recently announced a ramp-up in attacks on Iran, and the deaths of more US service members. Trump on Thursday promised "major military punishment" for Iran and its Houthi allies, after the Yemeni fighters struck two Saudi oil tankers in the Red Sea, extending the Middle East war to a second major shipping chokepoint.
