Iran releases images showing damage to US base in Bahrain
Iran on Wednesday released satellite images revealing its precise strike on the drone command and control center of the U.S. Fifth Fleet base in Bahrain.
The images showed the before and after visuals of the U.S. base targeted in the strike.
In a statement issued early on Monday, Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) said its forces, in the second phase of their retaliatory operation, hit and destroyed several key military assets at the Shaikh Isa Air Base, including important helicopter maintenance and repair centers, a P-8 electronic warfare aircraft hangar, and the U.S. Army's drone command and control center.

US confirms attack on Iran
The US military said on Wednesday it began a new round of airstrikes targeting Iran during daylight hours, part of an increasing tempo of attacks.
The US military's Central Command issued a statement online acknowledging the strikes had begun.
Over recent days of strikes, the US hit Iran only at night.
“The strikes are designed to further degrade military capabilities Iranian forces have used to attack commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz,” Central Command said

US strikes kill at least 7 Iranian troops
US strikes overnight on Iran killed at least seven troops assigned to the 388th Mechanised Infantry Brigade, Iranian state television reported Wednesday. The troops of the 388th were at a barracks in Bampour in Iran's southeastern Sistan and Baluchestan province, the report said.
The report said the Americans fired at least 13 missiles in the attack and that the dead included conscripts and career soldiers. A number of other troops were wounded. The army said it would make “a decisive response to this aggressive action by the American enemy,” state TV added.

In a statement carried by Iranian state television, the Guard threatened oil and gas exports from the region.
