A scuffle broke out at Rampura Kanwarpura village in Jaipur district on Friday when locals allegedly confronted and pushed back a Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) team that had gone to inspect a government school as part of its 'School Thik Karo' campaign.

The CJP team had planned to assess the condition of the school and interact with students and teachers. The locals reportedly barricaded the main approach road before the team arrived, after which a confrontation broke out and the CJP workers were pushed out of the area.
The school building had been declared unsafe and closed to students, with classes being held in a cattle enclosure near the school. Villagers said the government had already sanctioned funds for repairs and that the work could be carried out through local efforts.
Bagru DSP Dharmendra Sharma, however, said he was unaware of any such development.
CJP spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka alleged that he and members of his team were assaulted during the confrontation, with stones pelted at them and windows of their vehicles smashed. He also claimed that women volunteers were targeted and that his shirt was torn.
Ranka alleged that police failed to intervene despite being aware of the stone-pelting. He claimed several CJP volunteers were injured, including one who suffered a fractured hand.
He accused Rajasthan Education Minister Madan Dilawar of being behind the alleged attack and gave the authorities 48 hours to arrest those responsible and withdraw restrictions on outsider entry into government schools.
CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke also alleged on X that BJP workers were behind the incident and questioned the Rajasthan Police's response.
.@PoliceRajasthan seems to be a mute spectator while goons attack CJP volunteers for visiting govt schools.

They don’t seem to have a problem with schools running in buffalo stables, but somehow have a problem with CJP volunteers entering those schools.

Ranka had earlier alleged that the attackers were not local villagers but people 'summoned by the BJP', and identified their alleged leader as Kamal Pradhan. There was no immediate response from the BJP to the allegations.
The incident came amid a controversy over restrictions imposed by the Rajasthan education department on the entry of outsiders and media persons into government schools without a specific reason.
The CJP opposed the restriction and accused the state government of attempting to prevent public scrutiny of the condition of government schools.
The CJP's 'School Thik Karo' campaign seeks to assess school infrastructure, facilities available to students, academic arrangements and the overall condition of government schools, particularly in rural areas.
