The Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) alleged that the Union government did not keep the promises that led to the end of its protest, demanding the withdrawal of all FIRs registered against those who participated in the protest at the Jantar Mantar.

We are deeply concerned by multiple reports reaching us of students and other protestors being targeted, detained, or arrested by various state agencies, particularly in Assam, West Bengal, and Bihar.

Addressing a press conference, CJP leaders said the government had promised to withdraw the cases against protesters but had not fulfilled the commitment. The party urged the Modi Government to keep its promise and cancel all FIRs related to the protest.
Senior Congress leader and advocate Kapil Sibal, who joined the press conference, extended legal support to the protesters. He alleged that the government was targeting students individually through criminal cases and maintained that the FIRs against the protesters should be withdrawn.
To support those facing legal action, CJP launched a legal assistance portal named Sakshi, which will provide information and facilitate legal aid for protesters.
Meanwhile, the Delhi Police released visuals purportedly showing violent incidents during the protest at Jantar Mantar. The police also claimed that criminal elements had entered the protest site and were involved in the violence.
