New Delhi: Actor Ram Charan and filmmaker Sukumar are set to collaborate on the pan-India film ‘RC17’.

The film will be produced by Mythri Movie Makers and reunites the ‘RRR’ actor and Sukumar after their 2018 film ‘Rangasthalam ’, which emerged as a critical and commercial blockbuster.
The pooja ceremony for ‘RC17' will be held on Sunday on the film's set, according to a press release.

The production banner shared the announcement with a post on the official Instagram handle on Saturday, which featured the poster. "Megastar Ram Charan Master storyteller Sukumar #RX17," read the text over it.
"And we begin," said the caption.

‘Rangasthalam' also starred Samantha Ruth Prabhu alongside Charan and revolved around a village controlled by a corrupt, autocratic president, Phanindra Bhupathi (Jagapathi Babu), who has ruled through intimidation, debt exploitation, and land seizures for 30 years.
The film earned over Rs 210 crore at the global box office.

Charan recently featured in ‘Peddi ', where he essayed the labourer in 1980s rural Andhra Pradesh who overcomes a severe injury to become a track athlete.
