Mexico: Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum said BTS is expected to return to Mexico in 2027 following her meeting with South Korean President Lee Jae Myung at the National Palace on Thursday.
The K-pop group, comprising RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook, debuted in 2013 and helped turn Korean pop music into a global phenomenon through its upbeat songs and dance performances. The group has built a huge and loyal worldwide fan base known as ARMY.
BTS most recently visited Mexico in May 2026.

Speaking at a joint press conference, Sheinbaum and Lee said Mexico and South Korea were exploring the possibility of establishing a centre dedicated to K-pop culture in Mexico, alongside a Mexican culture centre in South Korea.
The two leaders also expressed their desire to expand cooperation between the countries.
