With a diameter of 54.7 metres, the Qianjiang Tiangong Nova Spherical Theater is the world's second-largest and Asia's first giant immersive LED spherical dome. Opening this summer, the venue promises a unique blend of cinema, dining and tourism under one spectacular roof.
Designed to bring world-class visual experiences closer to local audiences and visitors from neighbouring regions, the theatre combines cutting-edge display technology with the rich cultural heritage of the ancient Chu civilisation, creating a striking new landmark for the city.
Located opposite the Qianjiang Ecological Lobster City, the theatre stands 46.5 metres tall - roughly the height of a 15-storey building. Its LED-clad spherical exterior is designed not only for immersive film screenings but also for live sports broadcasts, light shows and public cultural events, making it a year-round entertainment destination.
